Kapibastu/May 17 Area Police Office, Pipara has arrested Bhaji Bahadur Nepali, 67, of Motipur VDC-3 on charge of raping a 5-year-old girl. According to the District Police Office, Nepali had raped the girl at his home at around 10.30 am on May 15. The incident came to light when the locals heard the girl crying at his television room. Her medical checkup was conducted at District Hospital, Taulihawa. Accused Nepali has been remanded in custody for three days by the court. DSP Dinesh Mainali said that the police had begun investigation into the case.
