Deputy mayor Saraswati Rawal of Rama Roshan rural municipality Accham padlocked the municipality office on October 28  demanding equity and justice complaining that her rights were curtailed .

Issuing a press release she said that she took to protest as the rural municipality authority barred her from exercising her rights as laid down in the local government act . she complained that most of the activities including the appointments and the monitoring were carried out in her absence.

Although both are from the ruling Nepal Communist Party, Chairman Jhankar Saud and Deputy Mayor Rawal are said to be in bad terms for a long time.
