Jhapa/ May 23 Lila Bahadur Karki, 55, of Sanishare VDC-9 has been remanded in custody by a court order on charge of attempting to rape a minor on May 22. The accused had attempted to rape a 4-year-old girl on May 3 at her house. He was immediately arrested by the police after the locals informed about the incident to the police. The victim underwent a health checkup at Mechi Zonal hospital on May 4.
