Banke,prahariko anusandhan fitalo bhayeko arop. Banke/ May 26 Member of National Women's Commission and spokesperson Mohana Ansari has accused police of weak investigation. Speaking at a press meet at Nepalgunj on May 25, Ansari said that the accused are getting impunity in incidents of violence against women due to the weak investigation of the police. She further said that the investigation on violation against women in Banke has been weak and it needs to be more scientific. She said that the late investigation on such incident leads to impunity of the accused and destruction of evidence. She expressed a deep concern on police for delaying registering the case regarding violence against women. Saying that scientific test of the burnt women could not be done, she stressed on establishing scientific laboratories in each development region. The team of women commission led by Ansari is at Banke for the field study on violence against women.
