Morang/ May 26 Prakash Thapa, 31, of Kerabari VDC-5, has been arrested by the area police office of Belwari on May 25 on charge of being involved in gang-rape of a 16-year-old girl in the jungle of Dangipire of Kerabari VDC-6. The victim was raped by a group of three people who came in a motorbike on May 23 near the jungle while she was on the way to her friend’s house at Kerabari VDC-5, said SI Chandra Yogi of area police office, Belwari. The victim underwent a medical checkup at BP Memorial hospital, Dhahran on May 24. A complaint against the accused was lodged by the victim’s party on May 24 at area police office of Belwari. The other two accused are at large and the investigation is underway, said SI Yogi. Suk
