Ganesh Aire, in-charge of the blood bank run by the Nepal Red Cross Society Dadeldhura, allegedly issued death threat against Lalit Bohora, a member of the working committee of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists Dadeldhura branch and publisher of Info News Online for writing a news against their organization. He was threatened for writing a news story titled 'Extreme negligence of Blood Bank Dadeldhura, staff could not be found for 8 hours to donate blood'.
Meanwhile, the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Dadeldhura on November 6. In a press release issued by the General Secretary of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists, Far Western Province Committee, Yogesh Rawal, the stakeholders are requested to guarantee legal journalism by demanding legal action against the person who made such a threat.
