A man was killed when he was attacked by his father in Tilottamma of Rupandehi, on Saturday.
The deceased was 19-year-old Padam Bahadur Gurung, who was attacked by his 43-year-old father, Sher Bahadur, with a knife.
According to Butwal Area Police Office Chief, DSP Pratit Singh Rathore, Sher Bahadur was intoxicated and had resorted to using abusive language towards his wife. Padam Bahadur had intervened in the fight requesting his father to not be disrespectful.
Upon that, he was attacked by a knife and died on the spot, according to Rathore.
The team of police have arrested Sher Bahadur on Saturday itself following the incident.
Further investigation has also started, police added.
