There was an anti-republican rally in Dadeldhura with loud slogans demanding the declaration of Nepal as a Hindu nation with a constitutional monarchy on December 2. Leaders and activists of Nepali congress including other political parties also participated in the rally. 

The youths chanted anti-republican slogans like 'King, come and save the country', 'Our king is dearer to our country than life', 'Hindu Nation- Nepal is alive' and demanded restoration of constitutional monarchy
