NCP (Nepal Communist Party) Dadeldhura District Committee Member Padam Bohara has started a hunger strike at the state party office in Dhangadhi putting forward five point demands.

He has demanded the leaders to work on behalf of citizens instead of thinking about themselves and complete the remaining work related to party unification before the general convention of the party. He is also demanding the unification of the party to save Federal Republic state.

Bohara is the joint secretary of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Dadeldhura and a member of the Far Western Provincial Committee.
