Three including Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader's son arrested for attacking businessman

Three persons have been arrested for attacking businessman Indra Lama of Urlabari-9 Durgapuri on November 13.

The businessman was attacked by a group of 8/10 people while he was at his wood mill with his friends. Lama was beaten by a group of 8/10 people led by Prajwal Gautam of Urlabari-8. 

Lama was rushed to Birtamod's B&C Hospital for treatment after being unconscious in the beating.

The Urlabari Area Police Office on Thursday arrested Prajjawal Satarud, Keshav Ghimire and Khemraj Ojha of Urlabari-8.

Prajjawal involved in the attack is the son of Umakanta Gautam, chairman of the ruling NCP Urlabari.

Police Inspector Uddhav Pokharel said that the investigation has been started by keeping the arrested persons in custody.
