Dahal-Nepal faction staged a demonstration in Sindhulimadi on December 27 against the dissolution of the parliament. The rally started from the road in front of the NCP's office and went around the market of Sindhulimadi district headquarters.

Four days ago, the Oli faction had padlocked and occupied the party office in Kamalamai Municipality-6. On December 27, both sides held a program at the party office. Security personnel cordoned off the party office since the morning after the possibility of a clash increased, not allowing both sides to enter. 

The Dahal-Nepal faction started the rally in front of the party office while the Oli faction did not go. The protesters chanted slogans like "Maintain party unity and take the unconstitutional step back" at the rally.
