KATHMANDU, Jan 12: A group of leaders and cadres belonging to the Bibeksheel Sajha Party staged a symbolic protest brushing their teeth at Maitighar in the heart of the capital on Tuesday. The protest was held against the government's act of dissolving parliament and its totalitarian moves, according to the party.
The party also raised questions on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's act of spitting from the rostrum as he was addressing a meeting of the National Assembly on Sunday. The prime minister courted a controversy after he punctuated his speech at the upper house of the federal parliament on Sunday by spitting from the rostrum. The Bibeksheel Sajha Party is holding a similar protest at 10:30 AM on Wednesday against the government's act of dissolving the House.
