Civil society leaders staged a protest at the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan on January 11 against the dissolution of the House of Representatives alleging the decision was unconstitutional. Artists, writers and the general public also participated in the protest.

Among the participants in the demonstration, the performance of women, the members of Political Literacy for women, was different. They wore masks with the word 'unconstitutional' on them, danced to the beat of instruments and chanted slogans against PM Oli.
