33-year-old Dhirendra Patel of Birgunj Metropolitan city ward No 28 Parsa set fire to his in-laws' house in Jitpur Simra Metropolitan Ward No 18 of Bara over a personal dispute on January 16.
Patel, who went to his in-laws after consuming alcohol, got angry and started a fire during a dispute within the family. According to the police, the fire destroyed clothes, utensils and food items inside the house and caused a loss of Rs 50,000. Patel has fled after the fire broke out and search for him is underway.
