Indefinite Bandh Affects Studies

The teachers of the schools affiliated with PABSON and NPABSON called for bandh, nearly 19,000 students were affected when about 150 institutional schools were closed.

A statement signed jointly issued on November 16 by Nepal Democratic Education Forum, Kailali chairperson Prem Chand Ojha and Institutional School Teachers' Union , Kailali's secretary Dabal BK called for the bandh.

The statement said that the bandh was called for after the government did not implement the previous agreements regarding the teachers' salary and amenities among all.
