Nepali Congress Sunsari staged a protest in 124 wards of the district against the dissolution of the House of Representatives. According to the District Working Committee, Sunsari demonstrations have started in all the wards of the district as per the decision of the Center to hold demonstrations in 6,743 wards across the country.

Leaders including ward committee chairperson Suman Thapa, Dinesh Subedi, and Uttam Karki addressed the protest rally.

Speakers said Prime Minister Oli's move is unconstitutional. They said that the program will be carried out as per the instructions of the Center.

The Nepali Congress has already organized protest programs in 165 constituencies, 330 state assembly constituencies and 753 municipalities.
