Khotang/ June 17 Police have arrested Prakash Rai, 31, on June 17 on charge of beating and injuring his wife Lalita Rai, 28, of Bamrang VDC-4 over a domestic dispute. The accused along with his second wife injured Lalita on June 11. After the incident, Lalita lodged a complaint at District police office on the same day against the accused. Based on the complaint Prakash has been arrested by the police, said SI Yadav Gautam. The victim underwent a medical checkup at district hospital of Diktel on the same day the complaint was lodged. SI Gautam said that the accused will be charged under polygamy.
