A video of police brutally beating members of the  transgender has become viral on social media. The incident in the video took place at new bus park area of Gongbu in Kathmandu.  In the video posted on Instagram, it was clearly seen that the police were beating them even after their arrest and the people were begging for help.

Police, on the other hand, have accused they arrested 16 transgender people on the basis of the complaint from the local people on their alleged involvement in illegal activities. But after the arrest, a group of about 25 people came and started vandalizing the police office.
