Nepal Youth Association affiliated to Nepal Communist Party (NCP) of Oli Group staged a motorcycle rally in Butwal in support of the mid-term elections on January 26. The rally started from Butwal Highway intersection and ended at the premises of Pushpalal Memorial Building in Sukhanagar.
The protesters chanted slogans in favour of Prime Minister Oli saying that the dissolution of the House of Representatives was justified for the new mandate. The gathering of the Oli-affiliated youth association is scheduled to be addressed by Lumbini Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel, former president of the youth association Mahesh Basnet and Ramesh Poudel.
