Area police office of Gaurigunj has arrested Umesh Majhi, 20, of Juropani VDC-9, Sanjaya Majhi, 19, and Ram Prasad Majhi, 42, on June 17 on charge of murdering an 11-year-old girl of Juropani VDC-9 after abduction. The girl had gone missing since June 13 while coming back home from school. Later on her body was recovered near the house on June 16. The police have arrested them on suspicion of their involvement in the murder. Inspector Dilli Chaudhary of area police office said that blood stains have been found in the cowshed inside the premises of the house of the accused. Police suspected that the victim might have been murdered after rape. The postmortem of the body was performed on the same day at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan after which the body of the deceased was cremated by the family members.
