Prachanda-Nepal faction assaults a man in Surkhet

Cadres of the Prachanda-Nepal faction of NCP that is on nation-wide general strike today assaulted a person on a motorcycle in Surkhet today. Youths affiliated to the faction are resorting to violent means despite the faction saying that the general strike would be peaceful.
Jorasingh Bista of Bhairavi Rural Municipality-1 of Dailekh was beaten by the protestors after pulling him from his motorcycle. He has sustained minor injuries. Autorickshaws and motorcycles were plying in Surkhet Bazaar in the morning but are now closed.
