Krishna Prasad Rajbanshi, a 10-year-old student of Champapur Secondary School in Kankai municipality-6 Jhapa died after being beaten by the school's substitute English teacher Rabin Magar. The family of a student studying has alleged that their child died in the course of 11 days of treatment due to the punishment given by the substitute teacher.
The deceased was a student in class 4 , the accused Rabin allegedly slapped the boy and brutally pulled his ears while teaching English on January 31 after the boy was unable read English properly. Magar is currently under the control of Area Police Office, Birtamod.
