Grade 10 Students of Sikta Higher Secondary School, Rajpur Rural Municipality-7 have lodged a complaint against their teacher on the charge of beating them at the Area Police Office, Gadhwa on February 14. As per the complaint, their 36-year-old teacher Hemraj BK, on February 5, had beaten all other remaining 46 students except for one for scoring zero in the maths subjects.
The complaint was lodged by 15-year-old Soma Kumal, 18-year-old Sarmila Kumal and 16-year-old Sarmila Nepali. Sarmila was severely injured from the beating. The incident only came to light after the video was publicized on social media.
