PM Oli faction cadres attack NC's protest assembly program in Baitadi, 6 injured as two sides clash

Cadres of NCP's Oli faction have attacked Nepali Congress leaders and cadres at their protest assembly in Baitadi on Tuesday afternoon. Cadres of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Oli faction pelted stones at the program. 

According to Deepak Joshi, the personal secretary of NC leader NP Saud, a group of NCP Oli faction’s cadres under the leadership of Mukesh Pal attacked Saud who had reached Dilasaini, Baitadi to address NC’s program.

Joshi informed that Pal, the leader of the assaulting group is NCP Oli faction’s Baitadi district Chairman Surendra Pal’s son.

6 persons including NC leader Saud sustained an injury on his leg. Cadres of Prime Minister KP Oli led faction of NCP had tried to disrupt the program hurling stones at the leaders and participants of NC’s program.
