2021-02-21

PM Oli had inaugurated Nepal's second-longest concrete bridge connecting Sisahaniya and Mahadeva and also unveiled the inscription while inaugurating the bridge on January 25. However, in less than a month after the inauguration of the bridge,  the inscription was vandalized.

Police in-charge of the Area Police Office, Gadhwa,  said that no information has been received about the vandalism. There is no official information as to who destroyed the inscription and why.

On the day of the inauguration, the locals of the Mahadeva area had complained that the name of the bridge was written Sisahaniya Bridge in the inscription even if it was built in the Mahadeva area.
