The school administration of Chandrodaya Secondary School in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-5, Bishaltar has been accused of mistreating more than 150 students as punishment for an alleged discipline violation. The administration forcibly cut the hair of the students, and while cutting the hair, a male student of class 9 sustained an eye injury while some sustained injuries on their head. The students complained that they were also beaten when they refused to cut their hairs.
Meanwhile, the school principal Rameshwor Pokharel said that the school cut the hair of some students to maintain discipline but there was no abuse.
