Complaint of caste-discrimination lodged against ward chairman in Lamjung

A differently-abled man, 45-year-old Prem Vinod BK of Rainas Municipality-9 lodged a complaint against 63-year-old ward chairperson Padam Bahadur Thapa, at the District Police Office, Lamjung on March 9, accusing him of using derogatory terms expressing cast-based discrimination against him in a public program. BK stated that he lodged a complaint at the police after the justice-committee meeting held on March 10 did not take any action against the ward chairperson.
