Sindhuli,Balatkaarka aropitlaai 5 barsha kaid. Sindhuli/June 29 The District Court has sentenced Badri Lungeli, 40, of Ranibas VDC-7 to five years in prison on charge of raping an 18-year-old girl. The verdict that came on June 29 was issued by district court Devendra Poude which also awarded Rs 50,000 to the victim as compensation. The woman was raped by Magar on October 3, 2070, as she was sleeping alone at her home. She filed a complaint against him on October 4. Her medical checkup was conducted on October 18. Absconding Magar was arrested by the police on February 18.
