One person was killed due to a clash between two groups of transport workers in Barekot Rural Municipality-2, Limsa of the district. The deceased is identified as 35-year-old Naresh Rawal of Nalgad Municipality-4.
According to police, the clash took place after a dispute rose between the Jajarkot-Dolpa Transport Committee workers over the route of the vehicle. After the clash, Rawal's body was found in a river at Deul in Barekot. Sujan Karki and Bikas Rawal of Nalgad-4 were seriously injured in the clash. Police said that six persons were arrested on the charge of being involved in the incident.
