47-year-old Bishnumani Acharya, Chairman of Indravati Melamchi Social Upliftment Program Steering Committee and Ashok Koirala, a member of the same committee, beat the residents of Indravati Rural Municipality-6 were beaten by Yubaraj Dulal, state parliament member of the Bagmati State. Both the victims are affiliated with the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) were injured from the incident. 

During the ambulance handover program held in the municipality on April 6, the organizers had asked the ward chairperson Banshlal Tamang to hand over the ambulance key instead of the chief guest MP Dulal. For this reason, he had allegedly beaten the committee members.
