Dalit man fired from his cook job from a School in Baitadi

The Dalit community member, Tejram Sarki, a cook in Kailpal Basic School of Pancheshwar Rural Municipality-4, Baitadi, who has been working for 15 years was fired from his job. According to Sarki, the management committee fired him due to his identity as Dalit. Sarki, who was appointed as a school attendant at the then-District Education Office, said he was in trouble after the local government came to power.
