A week long prohibitory order imposed in Gulmi

The District Covid-19 Crisis Management Committee (DCCMC) decided to impose a week-long prohibitory order in Gulmi from midnight of May 1 till midnight of May 8.

During this period, shops selling essential consumer goods, milk, vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, water, gas, petroleum products, and construction materials will be open from 7 to 9 in the morning, banks and hotels from 10 to 12 in the afternoon. The order also restricts all vehicles except food, vegetables, fruits, milk, water, medicine trucks, and ambulances. Citizens are urged not to leave their homes except for urgent work. Hospitals and pharmacies will be open 24 hours a day.

206 people have been infected in the district in the second wave of Covid-19. Of those infected, 199 are in home isolation and one is in hospital and six people have died to date.
