63-year-old Bir Bahadur Rai of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-7, Solukhumbu, was beaten to death by his 46-year-old neighbor Santuraj Rai. Bir Bahadur was seriously injured from his neighbor's beatings over a minor domestic dispute on April 23. The injured died at Neuro Hospital, Kathmandu, on April 29, while undergoing treatment.

According to the District Police Office, Solukhumbu, a police team took Santuraj under control and started an investigation after receiving information about the incident.
