Chitwan/July 8 A police complaint against Police Constable, Bel Bahadur Giri, 29, of Samilpal Kavre VDC-5 and currently posted at the police station in Kabilas VDC-1 has been filed at District Police Office on July 8 accusing him of raping a 19-year-old girl. The girl’s aunt said that Bel Bahadur tricked her into coming to a field in the Kabilas VDC-1 on July 6 adding the girl has Down’s syndrome. She added that the girl was an orphan and that she was taking care of the girl. The family filed a complaint on July 8 asking for tough action against the perpetrators. The victim was taken to Bharatpur Hospital for medical checkup on July 7. Locals said that the accused was caught and handed over to the District Police Office through Jugedi police station on July 7. DSP Shantiraj Koirala said that the police were investigating the case.
