An object that looked like IED has been defused in Damak, Jhapa. The suspicious object was found wrapped with black tape in the box. The package contained the words "Communist Party of Nepal-Rebel" written on plain paper. Police said a Nepal Army bomb disposal team diffused the object. According to the District Police Office, the object did not explode.
