24-year-old Hakim Magar lodged a complaint on May 13, against 53-year-old Chandralal Tamang, ward chairperson of Chhathar Jorpati Rural Municipality-2, Dhankuta on the charge of beating him over a minor dispute.
The dispute broke between two after a nursery belonging to Tek Bahadur Tamang was accidentally damaged while Magar was breaking a stone with a dozer on May 11. Magar alleges ward chairman Tamang of beating him by calling a group of 20/25 people. He has sustained head injuries from the incident.
According to the police, including the ward chairperson, the victim had lodged a complaint against 20-year-old Sudip Tamang and 35-year-old Sukra Tamang on May 13.
