Parbat/July 10 The district court has sent Sanjeev Silwal, 27, of Bachha VDC-5 to custody on July 10 on charge of killing wife Sanju Silwal, 25. Judge Madhabendra Raj Regmi ordered to send Silwal in custody on condition of final decision on the case to be effective. Meanwhile, the court allowed bail of another accused Til Kumari Silwal, mother-in-law of the deceased at an amount of 40 thousand rupees. Locals of Bachha VDC and relatives of the deceased held a sit-in in front of the court against the court decision. According to the family of the victim, she was poisoned in milk by her husband and mother-in-law a month later after he came back from abroad. They claimed that the victim was subjected to physical and mental torture by her mother-in-law over dowry issues. The locals said that the duo hanged her after killing her to show the death as suicide.
