Nepal Students Union (NSU) stage a bullock cart demonstration against the government in Tamnagar of Rupandehi on May 31. During the demonstration, they raised concerns about the promises of PM Oli to develop Nepal, Corona-resistant vaccines,  accused of Nirmala murder case, encroached Nepali land, and abduction of assembly members.

Protestors further state that despite the formation of a two-thirds permanent government, the situation of Nepal and Nepalis has been further complicated. Student leaders said that even during the health crisis of the Corona pandemic, the government did not show responsibility to the people and is only interested in politics.
