Dadeldhura/July 14, Family of an 8-year-old girl has filed a complaint against Padam Bahadur Deuba, 58, of Matela in Asigram VDC-5 on July 14 accusing him of raping the girl. According to the victim's family, the accused raped the girl after luring her while she was staying at her house on July 7. The victim, who studies in grade one, was staying home that day instead of going to school because of rain. The girl is kept at the safe house of Women Freedom Society, Dadeldhura after her medical check-up was conducted at Sub-regional Hospital in Dadeldhura on July 14. Sub-inspector Karbir Air of the District Police Office said that search for the absconding Deuba was ongoing.
