Former Forest and Environment Minister Prem Bahadur Ale threatened senior sub-editor of Kantipur Daily on Monday during a telephone interview.
Miya has accused Ale of abusing and threatening him when he called for a telephone interview on Monday. Federation of Nepali Journalists has condemned the incident in a press release.
Kantipur Publications has clarified that if there were any concerns on the issues of the news, there's a provision of the legal process. However, threatening journalists seriously violates press freedom.
