45-year-old Laxman Sah of Bhramarpura village in Loharpatti Rural municipality of Mahottari died after being attacked by his brother 50-year-old Ram Chandra Sah and his family on June 11. Long after the property division, the two brothers used to quarrel over owning the house deity.
Laxman who was injured in the attack died at a hospital in Kathmandu. The postmortem of Laxman's body was conducted in Kathmandu and the body was brought to his house in Bhramarpura for burial on June 11, said Mahottari Police. After Laxman's death, his brother Ram Chandra and his family are absconding and two others have been arrested by the Mahottari police.
