Kalawati Aryal, a 75-year-old woman was looted and brutally beaten by two unidentified youths on June 25 while she was grazing her goats at Kushma Municipality-4.
According to Kalawati's son Santosh, the mother was grazing goats in the forest about 100 meters above the house when two youths, aged around 19-20, snatched the gold earrings from her ears. They also physically assaulted her by throwing stones at her. She has sustained serious head and arm injuries. Police are further investigating the case.
