An unidentified group vandalized various places including the ward office of Rainadevi Chhahra rural Municipality-5 in Palpa on June 30 night. According to the police, due to the vandalism, there was a loss of millions of rupees.
According to Rural Municipality Chairman Ram Bahadur Karki, the office of Ward No. 5, office of Kalika Higher Secondary School, women's cooperative, post office, office of agricultural cooperative, and Netra Bahadur Karki's shop in Mujhung Tol were vandalized. Palpa Police Spokesperson Inspector Laxman Pachabhaiya confirmed the incident and said that police had reached the spot from the District Police Office for investigation.
