A group of persons has physically assaulted 22-year-old Sirjul Rayin of Aurahi Rural Municipality-1 at Jallad bridge in Janakpurdham on Tuesday afternoon. According to Rayin, he received a phone call requesting him to come to Janakpurdham. Upon reaching there a group of around a dozen people started beating him. He is still unaware about the reason for beating and has sustained serious injury on his head. He registered a complaint at District Police Office Dhanusha on Thursday against the assailants.
