Kathmandu, July 4
An Indian national has been found murdered in Sanepa of Lalitpur inside Kathmandu valley on Sunday.
SSP Kiran Bajracharya, the chief of the Metropolitan Police Range in Lalitpur, says Satya Narayan Parik (59) was allegedly murdered with a hammer. Preliminary investigations show some people barged into the room by breaking a window and attacked him.
As some goods in the house have been missing, police say the attackers had come there with a plan of theft.
Although the case came to light on Sunday, it has been suspected that Parik was murdered on Friday evening or Saturday morning. “But, further investigation is underway.”
The body has been taken to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem.
