Police allegedly refused to file a complaint against the perpetrators of the KS International vandalism in Tripureshwar. According to the victims, the Metropolitan Police Circle, Anamnagar, threatened to arrest them if they went to register a complaint against those who attacked KS International operators and vandalized shops on July 1.
Operator Ivan Karki said the shop was vandalized during a dispute between the driver and security guards. He said that when he went to lodge a complaint at the police office with CCTV footage demanding action against those who vandalized his shop and beat him up, Inspector Bikram Subedi threatened to arrest him instead of lodging a complaint due to pressure from the officials of the District Administration Office.
