July 22, Hira Darji, 31, of Diktel Municipality-15 has lodged a complaint at district police office of Diktel on July 22 against her husband Ram Bahadur Darji, 31, accusing him of beating and expelling her from the house. The victim complained that she was mentally and physically tortured by him and was deprived of food and clothing since they were married a decade ago. She further said that she was compelled to lodge a complaint after she, along with her three children was expelled from the house on July 15. She has been taking shelter at her neighbor's house after being expelled from her house. She demanded that her and her children's right to live with dignity be ensure. SI Yadav Gautam of the DPO said that the legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused.
