Targeting the role CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal played in uniting the UML, he revealed that he received threats from leaders of some political parties. He also said in a press release, during the threats he was alleged of meeting Indian intelligence in a conspiratorial manner and that KP Oli had promised to make him acting chairman. Rawal did not reveal who threatened him.
