Youth Union cadres burn Madhav Nepal's effigy in Koteshwor

Cadres of the former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli burnt an effigy of senior party leader Madhav Kumar Nepal at Koteshwor. The cadres who reached Oli's residence at Balakot in Bhaktapur on July 14 returned from there and gathered at Koteshwor. According to Ashok Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Kathmandu, they hold a corner meeting at Koteshwor Chowk and burnt the effigy.
Police intervened in the protest. Police security is also been beefed up to prevent them from going to Madhav Nepal's residence.
