The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has drawn serious attention to the incident against Gajendra Budhathoki, a member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) and editor-in-chief of Lumbini Sanchar.com, instructing to investigate and level the names of the management of Coca-Cola's Nepal-based bottling plant, Bottlers Nepal.
The management of Bottlers Nepal had threatened the trade union representative and instructed some trade union officials to hold a meeting in the name of journalist Badhathoki after journalist Budathoki wrote a news story with a follow-up on the issue of 73 per cent shares of Bottlers Nepal being bought and sold outside Nepal without the knowledge of Nepal. Also, journalist Budathoki informed the federation that his life is insecure as he received threats of being insecure by calling from an unknown number.
